First of all, what a refreshing and honest ad you wrote! I wish all the for sale ads were like that.
I think the price points mentioned in the this thread are right on, 40k would be a gift to you but possible, and 25 k would be a quick sell and on the light side. So about 30-35 seems reasonable.
When people reference the cost for repairing their car and do not count in the cost of labor they are really being dishonest with them selves and each other.
I always factor in my time, so to pay a shop to do the heads and broken studs could easily reach 6k and 'while they are in there' it turns into 10k fast with just a few simple items like a clutch.
Now I never pay a shop, but I use shop rates to make financial decisions on my cars. It is only fair.
