Good chance it is not economic to rebuild so may need another motor. Problem is that I might as well rebuild the new motor otherwise it may happen again.

Bummer, I was at a track event this past weekend too, blew a gasket because it was run in such a cluster fluck manner and was over a 100 degrees (my 1st event at this track), car is OK though.. My 87 944S street legal, track car is for sale
