Assuming this is for an R56 go to this article here: MINI Cooper R56 VANOS Solenoid Replacement (2007-2011) | Pelican Parts DIY Maintenance Article. It should help you get to the socket that is damaged. Then, you will need to inspect your terminals in the damaged socket housing. If they are damaged, you will need to cut in new ones. If they are not, you will need to replace the housing only. (I posted info on how to do this in the other thread you commented in). I do suggest going to the bottom of that article and leave a comment in the comment box. Nick will come in with additional advice on how to replace the socket as well. Good luck!
