I have not posted anything in a long time, As several here have asked how she is doing. Well it has been almost 1 year since she got listed and she has been on and off of the Active transplant list due to having other complications with her C.F. Presently she has been inactive for 3 months due to an infection of MAC. The Mac was detected in a culture and is not colonised which makes treatment possible but the regiment of drugs to fight MAC is very hard on her body and it must be treated before she can be placed back on active status. We just did 7 weeks in the hospital with kidney stones and collapsed lung and chest tube to re-inflate her lung and last week she got the chest tube out. Hopefully in 30 days she will be reevaluated and placed on active status again.
She has a guy friend in her life and living at home which makes her Mom and I happy.
