Here is something to think about the next time you need new carpet. Our condo building had new carpet put in the hallways recently. If a senior spills cooking oil or has a slow leak( I am not familiar with the latter yet) and it stains the carpet the affected area can have one or more of the squares replaced. The carpet is made of squares which can readily be removed and replaced.
