The herd panic sets in, and they are determined to follow with the crowd.
-Freeway left lane clusters while the rest of the road is completely empty.
-That person standing uncomfortably close for no apparent reason.
Or rather beat the crowd by participating with the latest "IN thing":
-Economy is taking a slump, stocks are at 25% of peak, what a great time to sell and lose most of our money.
-Look at the line outside that bar/club. Everyone is standing out in the freezing rain. Must be an important place. Let's go join them and suffer also.
-Black Friday. Krispy Kreeme. Etc.
