I have some wear and tear on my cabrio top, and while its not urgent, I may consider a replacement. I can't decide if I prefer the original look vs the newer 993 style top that you have. Same price? Fits the same frame hardware? Where did you have it done?

The previous owner installed the 993 style convertible top. Pics here...

I wouldn't have had the guts to go non-original. It is a much cleaner design that makes for a flowing "roof line" into the rear decklid. Less flaps and such. I very much prefer the cleaner design of the 993 style. To the best of my knowledge, price is similar and it fits the existing frame. I can look up the receipt, but it was done in San Diego.
Speaking of convertible tops, I just sourced the parts to convert my power top to full manual operation. I'm very much looking forward to the simple life.
I also just sourced a black deck-lid and tea tray tail for those days when I'm feeling a bit more shouty than the M470 option affords. My inner eighteen year old is pretty fired up.
