Years ago I thought the way you do. I was caught in the romance and idealized view of driving and collecting cars. The reality is that if you aren't careful you reach cross the point where it becomes a chore.....old cars always need something and you spend more time wrenching than driving. If you have Jay Leno money you can afford the facilities, mechanics, helpers, etc. to balance the load. When you don't have those resources (and you have too many cars) you find out there is truth to the old saying " too much of a good thing".
