Both have suspension mods of the '65 Shelby Mustang GT350 (which shares the Falcon chassis) and the Holman-Moody Monte Carlo Rallye Falcons, front disk, 9" rear ends, American Racing Torque Thrusts. Futura, original 260 C-4; Ranchero 351w, toploader. These two are '64's.

The inspiration. Commissioned by Henry Ford at the same time of the GT40 program, starting in 1963. Ford, Holman-Moody and Carroll Shelby prepped the rallye cars, starting with the round body Falcons. The Falcons kicked everyone's asses.
