The C3.0/early 930 case is special. It used the smaller crank journals of the early 66/70.4mm crank along with the wider cylinder head stud spacing of the 3.0SC/3.2 case. This allows the early lightweight crank with the later cylinder heads and larger diameter pistons.
The 2.8SS (66mm x 95mm) is fantastic engine and fits many race classes.
To me the 2.0 and 2.7 case are basically the same. The only difference is the layshaft and cylinder spigots. Build the equivalent of the 2.7 7R aluminum case with the smaller 2.0 spigots for your castings. The finish machining can be done to open for 2.0, 2.2/2.4 or 2.7 cylinder spigots. In other words, only build one.
Then the second could be the C3.0 case.
