What I meant by 1 base and 2 wireless bridges is I have a 3 access points. Only the one Base in the center is connected to the wired network. The other two bases are at each end of the house. They are set to extend the network. That means they connect wireless to the base and share the same network ID. They even let the base dole out the dhcp. Don't know if they use different channels or what. Just know my laptop has less bars and is slower without the bridge. Turn on the bridge sitting next to it and the bridge itself gets a much better connection to the base. And my laptop gets as good of a connection as if sitting next to the base. Have run all kinds of tests sending files etc. and a bridged connection just as fast as laptop being next to base.

I could connect the bridged routers to the base with wire. But don't really see the need. That is the way I setup my Nephews big house with lots of kids. Put a main base in the middle and wired bridges at each of the 3 corners. It worked great. They all had the same network name. The base was feeding it's wireless and the three wired to it's wired internet connection.

I am making it sould much more complicated that it actually is.
