Better be careful with that garage can wait a day stuff. Around here the weather is purdy enough that day turns into two turns into 3 turns in to a completely new project then next thing you know the garage is a half painted storage room. Make those kids help you finish quicker and THEN you can all go play.

Had a girlfriend in HS that I went to help her and her divorced mom clean house and do their chores on a Saturday morning so we could spend more free time together after the chores were don. Worked great the first couple of times. Got her chores finished quicker and we could go do other stuff. Then her Mom decided since there were more worker bees she could schedule more work. Fooey on that. Didn't mind going by and helping doing stuff now and then and getting to spend more free time with her. But when expected and didn't result in any more free time, it was a little much. Wouldn't have minded if she just had some stuff she asked that needed done now and then. But she was scheduling busy work just to take up the day.
