Thanks for the input on the car in question. I do prefer the 74 vs 75 due to the duck. yes it may be a "package car" but it is unique. As I continue to ponder my next more, again looking to move from 2 cars to 1 and keep it an open top, considered the 3 varients are "equal' i.e miles,color condition being the same, in the order my preference:

1.) 76-77 3.0 Targa would be ideal, but are hard to find. I think the market is around 100-125 for very nice car if you can find one.

2.) 84 - 89 491 TL Targas are easier to find but still scare. A good one would be 60-70 depending if it were a 915 or G50.. I lean towards a g50 vs 915 but it slims down the opportunities. a spoiler delete 491 would be of higher interest. a data point is a nice 85 TL cab in GR with semi low miles sold for about 60 recently on BAT.

3.) 74 - 74 Carrera targas are available but the prices seem to be near the top of a 491 TL targa and the low range of a 3.0 targa.
