All this talk of engine parts made m thing I have not changed the plugs in the Elky for over 50,000 miles. It is about due. The AC Delco plugs would be $32 for 8. A new AC Delco coil is $62 but the OEM manufacturer one is $19. I am pretty sure I have a spare coil anyway. I know I have a distributor cap but I usally replace those with the ignition wires. Those range from $130 to $28.

I may do the plug wires when I do my next oil change in a few weeks. It is running fine now but I like to keep it that way.

Good Monday morning all.

I am feeling a LOT and I do mean a LOT better than 5 years ago today. That is when I had my hip replaced. The first few days were not fun. Overall one of the dumbest things I ever did was delay getting it done. Every step hurt before the replacement. Now I never think about it except in the morning if I happen to see the scar as I am drying off from my shower.
