ICON. What is a iconic sports car? Back in the 1970s and 1980s there were a series of posters that young boys had of truely iconic cars that hung on bedroom walls. These posters were intended to encourage these young men to keep good school marks and stay out of trouble. One day they might own one of these cars if they worked very hard and got very very lucky.

No where on any kids bedroom wall did you find posters of datsun 240zs.
This would have been a underachieving young man. He would not have even needed secondary education to achieve the datsun.
