This is Peter from Germany. Unfortunately I cannot find a solution for my engine whine problem, seems like I'm not the only one with a 3,6l Carrera. There's a video on youtube which perfectly shows what I'm talking about- the whining noise, even without the belt mounted:

My engine is rebuilt, new gaskets, bearings, chains, cylinders...
I know noises are very subjective- but I think the noise was not present before the rebuild...
