Keep in mind, I am only running 10lbs of boost. It's a 9.5:1 compression engIne. I believe I could turn the boost up a little more, but it's plenty fast the way it is. I don't think I know of anyone making 500rwhp on 10lbs The block is stamped 3.1, so this is a rare factory 3.1. As far as I know, the bottom end is all original since the cylinders do not have the cooling fins on the top. Maybe I am my own worst critic, but I think you are being very generous at $50k.

You probably have lots more invested in this project than that, but the reason why it doesn't fetch more is the engine choice in my opinion. If I was to build a 930 clone, I would want to use a 930 motor (I did just that with my Turbo Targa), and go from there, which means fitting the car with turbo trailing arms, turbo brakes, and the 4 speed turbo trans rather than a 915.

The 3.1 is an extremely odd engine choice for this build and will put a lot of people off even though it appears all the right boxes were checked on the build.

This motor makes significantly less HP than my built 3.3, which has all the Turbokraft bits and a twin scroll turbo and billet IC (500WHP).

The plus side is at 50k it is a TON of car for the money and great looking to boot. Any more money than that and one can exceed your car easily by picking up a bagged 930 (Beverly Hills has a race car trashed 930 for mid 60s, but it is still an actual 930).
