Mrs WD and I spent a lot of time and tasted a lot of salsa perfecting our corn salsa recipe this summer. Today there was a car show/salsa judging event. Harvey washed the car show out, so I didn't take WD to the show, but we entered our corn salsa.
We won a major award!
No, not that major. We got a blue ribbon and $75. Plus the owner of a local country store wants us to make some for him to sell. Probably not going to happen, but it was nice to be asked.
We actually won 2 awards, best in class and best in show, but who's counting.
