Thanks for the welcome, first major issue is the factory alarm system, there is a key switch on the door jamb but I do not have the key and local Porsche agent says they cannot help. Unfortunately I do not know if it is on or off and what it does. If I connect a battery I get a clicking like a turn signal from somewhere under the dash but it is not signals, any clues or is it part of this alarm system?
I dont know what the switch does if it is a simple on/off or something far more clever
Anyone know please?
