There is a long story involved, but I am trying to get to some of the 'deferred' projects and maintenance on this machine - involving the door locks, door striker, interior door bits and so-forth.

In wayne's book, he has a very good outline on how to re-key the lock cylinder on the doors to match the ignition key. However, it does not say where to get the bits that would be put into the cylinder. Also, a detailed search of the site has not turned up a "kit" of any sort that I could use to put the lock pins in to match the 6 points on the key.

Can anyone advise where additional lock pins can be purchased? Or ... do I reuse the pins and reorient them to match the ignition key?
Here is the link to an old thread dealing with a source for the rekeying kit:

I have the ASP kit. For your car it is the same, kit ASP A-26-101. Has all the pins, springs and other parts to do the job of rekeying the doors, glove box etc. Use your ignition key. You will find the information on this PDF: http://www.carlocks.com/2008ASPCatalog.pdf

In past years you could order from Carlocks.com online. Not the case anymore. However you may want to call them to see if they can sell you the kit. The had a change in management or ownership, but it is not easy to source the ASP kits. Here is the link:

Also check eBay as I have seen the wafers, pins and springs for small versions of the kit.

Best luck, please share your results with us.
