And to be honest, I didn't realize how much it would help clear my head. And once I hit the road (solo I might add, and on purpose) I had several friends say they wished I'd have invited them. But this time - I just wanted to get a way alone. ...been a long time!

Most of my friends think I'm nuts, I'd rather drive any day of the week than fly. We just got back from 18 days, 13 states and 4500 miles of road trip out west with my family. Being from Kansas City and growing up a car guy I've always wanted to drive down the PCH and go to Bob's Big Boy for a friday night cruise. Our country is full of beautiful places and wonderful people that can only be seen and met on the road. This is my girls and I in Colorado.
