I have sworn off ALL pain meds due to the heart meds I take.
After my bad accident 5 years ago (someone ran a stop sign into the side of me at 60 MPH). I had a shattered pelvis and numerous broken bones, so the pain was real. They gave me oxycodone to ease the pain while lying in a hospital bed at home, but the drug made me nauseous, on and off hot/cold, and dizzy in the head. I haven't taken anything since, because I have an unusually high tolerence.
