I havn't measured, but I think JW is right - the bore is most likely oval or at least off center now.
As I undertand it, the one piece bearing retainer mostly supports the thrustbearing, but could it be used to locate the center of the bore behind it? Just an idea - I'm not a machining guy.
I will try Lars Schönemann. I know of him and his racecars, RSR's etc.
I am actually considering shipping it to CMS in Ca., since the price for a job like that in Europe would be approx. 1000$ plus shipping. Danish customs will tax my pants off though.
