There is a local dog food manufacturing plant a few miles west of me. We are far enough away we never smell it here. The NAPA parts store I go to very close to it. The area sometimes reeks of dry dog food. It used to be a Purina but now it is some Cargill plant making who knows what brand.
I bet they have a few dog food chutes.
I love that show "How it's made" and seeing how some parts or thinks we never think about is engineered, designed and built. Likely not so much fun to do as watch.
