I'm also amazed that most of the time when you see a 930 for sale it's very rough or bastardized to the point its no longer a 930.
I think we have forgot what a 930 represented in the 1970s/80s. These cars were something else. Right up there with the ferrari testarossa and the slant nose versions costing nearly as much.
This was a supercar so far above what a NA 911 was or could be. For that matter most all sports cars.
Not until the ferrari 288 GTO did the 930 have serious competition. And that was answered by porsche with 959. Which was a all wheel drive version of the 930 realized.
