If you were to reward people for their accomplishments instead of the opposite I might be interested.
Perhaps the profile of the first recipient will pique your interest. This is a true charity where 100% of your donation goes to it's intended purpose; increasing the balance, which will never be reduced by anything other than a total collapse of our financial system.

The first recipient, and typical of every recipient since inception, had these accomplishments:

4.2 cumulative GPA heavy in math and sciences
Lettered in multiple sports
A list of extra-curriculars as long as your arm
Years of long-term part time job history
living with her 3 siblings and single mother in a two bedroom rented 1960 10 x 60 Redman "trailer house" on $9600 a year in Anthony, NM, one of the poorest communities in America.

Simply living in a mobile home does not guarantee anything. Besides, we get 40 applicants for two grants, it has to be merit based.

Who receives the benefit? The two student who qualify get a $1,000 grant to go to whatever college or university or trade school they choose.

One of our early winners is working on his PhD in mechanical engineering at Stanford. He credits this grant for getting him started.

Yes it's small and insignificant, but not to two young New Mexicans each year.
