The man that started Ace Aerial in 1947. Wil Moore was a great guy. In his words he took early retirement at age 92. The reason he retired is not one insurance company on the planet would issue commercial insurance to anyone once they are age 90 or above to fly the airplane and take a picture at the same time. He still flew the oblique jobs when he was in his 80s. He had a long and perfect flying career. Never a single emergency, never a off airfield landing, never a damaged aircraft or damage to anything on the ground. He hung around the office for two years and had enough of just watching. He sold the company to a great guy. He was great but cancer killed him. His son, well no comment on a public forum. If he was on fire I might pee on him to put him out but I might have to drink a beer first.
Wil took his last flight ever on his 92nd birthday. He sold his personal airplane and the company shortly after. He live to be 98. He kissed his wife good night and walked upstairs to go to bed. His wife found him dead when she went upstairs to bed.
