I had a Tacoma (forget the year) I had bought used with high miles for $6500 driven it for years, hauled coal, firewood, and pulled stumps with it. It got ridden hard and put away wet. I had gotten my money's worth, and then the frame issue made the news. Toyota bought it from me for $9,000+. It paid for my Tundra. The frame issue was real, but Toyota took good care of me. Would not hesitate to recommend.
