I guess I should mention that persons responding to the ad should keep in mind what they are looking at, and check with their mommy first before making a bid or offer. It does take time to respond to inquiries, to detail the car for purposes of presenting well, etc. Done a bit of this in recent weeks, only to have the interested party indicate that there is a blemish here or there (it's a 30 year old car!), or indicate that they don't have approval from the wife, significant other (whatever) to make such a purchase, fill up their garage (fill in the blank).... I know, I know, comes with the territory, right? Well, not so much. You are looking at a classic car, they don't make them anymore, and it is a business transaction. Sheesh. Surely there is someone out there that would enjoy this car, and appreciate it. I drove it to work the other day. Such a great car. Also, I helped a friend last night with his son's old '83 944 (same exterior color, Guards Red; brown interior). Bad fuel pump. Being brought back out of storage. It is a real fixer upper, but worth $1,500, as it runs. Quite a contrast between the two cars. One that needs quite a bit of work, and one that needs nothing. Interested in either, inquire here.
