Caught Pink Floyd in 1966 playing an abandoned WW2 warehouse outside of Edinburgh Scotland. It was a rainy, cold Saturday night. Mods and Rockers were gonna fight so a NY friend and I had to be there. Big, drafty warehouse with a wall down the middle. Two bands were playing that night, one on each side of the wall. One price to see one band, a little more to hear both. Went to see The Who. Other band I'd never heard of before. Called Pink Floyd. The Who were great, Pink Floyd was strange but I bought a vinyl album off their stage. "Piper At The Gates of Dawn". Still have it.
