Kew... we're all newbs here at one point in time so no worries. Something of import when seeking assistance in PPF is year and type car you have. Putting that info in your signature is the way to go.
Am posting diagrams created by Bill James and modified by Mooney and 16Volt. Notice there's a window relay in the '79 and not in '86. (We are trusting these guys know their system inside and out to make these diagrams.) Am not a 911 electrogenius so will not pretend to know answer here. Am posting diagrams to instigate dialogue.

To read small text is best to copy image out of PPF to look at. Surly there are more panel diagrams to be found and even entire electrical plans to help sort out your challenge. Year of car is essential to finding correct eletro-plan.
