You are probably on to something there. The announcers discuss ad nauseam his off track adventures / vacations and it seems like he must keep on the go to be occupied. Its as if there is nothing that grounds him, that he can return to during breaks.
Then as you point out the endless parade of 'celebrity' friends that show up to see him, err I mean get on camera at a race (Lindsey Vonn, Venus and or Serena Williams, Justin Beiber). Hugging the Beibes in Monaco says it all
Interesting that Vonn shows up to support him but she is a Red Bull athlete.
On a side note, my wife and daughter have tried to convince me that the Beibes new music is good. I just can't do it. In my mind he is still the little punk that needs a beating (not by me of course and allegedly).
