I thought the dude that played Pablo did a decent job. Later I read he wasn't from Columbia and was from Brazil and heard he didn't know spanish well. The Columbians say he accent was terrible.
The other series I watched this Andrés Parra as Pablo Escobar nails it.
Do a google image search of Andrés Parra. He transformed right into a near exact copy of that thug and his acting as Pablo is quite good.
