One thing would seem constant in these experiences. The closer one is to a person in life, irrespective of the nature of the relationship, the harder it is to let go.
Seems obvious???????? yeah.
No stories here of people who have had parents pass on, where there was no real relationship........
I can say from experience, it is a reflective but otherwise, non event.
So, you had a close relationship with the deceased? well, lucky you........ the pain you are feeling is the loss of that rare and unique gift that not everyone experiences.
