Leaf Blowers, Battery Powered Recommendations?

I want a leaf blower that doesn't require a power cord. My current AC Toro works very well but the hassle of the AC cord is getting annoying. I went to the Stihl dealer looking for gas models and the guy (very helpful) said the new battery models do a good job and don't have the issues with storing/etc. gasoline. I tried some Stihl battery models in the store. This got me to thinking to look at battery models and there are now a lot of them out there (Stihl, Husky, Worx, Eco, B&D, Ryobi, etc., etc.) . I have one application (getting leaves off of my shake roof) where very high mph flow is needed (leaves caught between shakes). The Toro works OK for this. Any recommendations? Maybe the best thing is to rent a gas model for my roof once per year and get a battery model of moderate capability for the rest of what I need.
