Out of the 2, I prefer the Ryobi, it has much stronger wind and lasts longer battery wise.

Henry....make that 4 votes for the Ryobi. I have the old blower that first came out when they were using NiCad battery packs and now with the new 18v LiIon battery pack...it works even better --- and I'm sure the new style Ryobi blower is more efficient than my old one.

As an aside....I'm sorry I never finished my response to you on the landscape question. I was in the middle of transitioning to a new PC and my emails got left behind. I just went back and got that and will get back to you soon, if it's not too late.

BTW...I have 2 backpack blowers and never use them. I love the versatility of a hand held blower. Backpack blowers are nice on certain larger applications, for sure.

The cordless Ryobi is a good machine. Get one at Home Depot and you'll have 3 months to return it if you are not happy.....
