i am going to hunt Sandhill Cranes in TX this NOV. ammo info is all over the place. but for sure, i have NEVER sent pellets as large as "BB" down my barrels. i need steel shot. from what i understand, you do NOT want to shoot #2 or "BB" down a barrel with a screw in choke at FULL-CHOKE, correct? you destroy the barrel? my brother thinks MODIFIED with BB is the way to go. i'm leaning towards #2 steel. i will be shooting my 11-87, while my brother got to raid the gunsafe and "inherited" my stepdads Benelli
i told him to shoot 3.5" shells since he can..i am limited to 3". will i need to TRIM my magazine stop to fit the shells? maybe i should get some shells early and try. #2 shot, with modified choke should be tight enough?
okay..LAWN FURNITURE. my wife want outdoor couches on our wood-deck. what last? i see wicker stuff, TEAK..etc. i know the stuff is damn near going on sale this time of year around here. we are also having a compacted gravel pad laid down for a round table.. so i am assuming i will need storage for all the damn cushions and umbrellas. any ideas? you all have dedicated sheds for cushions?
