Thanks Theenico, looks like we are having the same part...
It's made out of plastic, can't see how a metal shop would get it straight...
It's most definitely not the targa bar cover...
I've done some googling, here's a couple of pictures that shows it better (the part I'm after is on top, hugging the parcel shelf cover on one side and the rear windscreen seal on the other side)
