We (the citizens taxes) overhauled the area totally, but kept the old brick warehouse look. There is a canal that has a short boat ride but it takes about an hour, and that is no eating, just sit in a boat and look and listen to the description of the area from the pilot.
With probably 30 to 40 restaurants in the area we can find a place to eat down there for sure. They have everything from Crabtown Cajun food, to great a BBQ place.

When we are traveling our only rule is nothing we have at home and I think that is covered there. For instance, we wouldn't eat at a chain that is available back home but would eat at a Mexican food place even though we have that type of food here. Just as an example.
