Ditched my propane grill for a Charbroil Tru-Infared Propane Smoker Roaster Grill.
The propane flames and fumes do not directly cook or flavor the meat.
No fussing with Charcoal.
It can roast with racks etc. or grill like those kettle style cookers.
Has a side box to put chips in to add smoke to roasting or grilling.

Because heat is infra-red or radiant ie doesn't cook with hot air, cooking at low temps is faster but still get the same tender, juicy results.

Can add a single charcoal briquette to the chip box and it adds the charcoal grill flavor without the hassle. Prefer wood chips or a mix though. And you don't have to wet or soak the chips either.

Rubbed down a turkey wth peanut oil and roasted it with no wood chips. Tasted just like a deep fried turkey and cooked in half the time without all that hot oil to heat up an contend with.

I really like it.
