Try pushing your head up as far as possible keeping your back and neck straight. Then kind of rock your head left and right on the top of your neck so it stretches the neck. It may even make some popping noises. That's one of the things my bone cracker told me if I experienced any extremity pain or numbness. Makes it go away quickly. There is also turning your head left and right as far as possible to stretch the muscles.
