I had no doubt it would eclipse $35k (BAT or not).
If what you say is true, there should numerous similar examples (S coupe/manual/under 40k mi./nav/sport-chrono/sport seats/etc.) that are currently available at non "outlier" prices. Can you point to any?
FWIW, I am not debating that some of the sale prices realized and/or the state of the P-car market in general is crazy-town. This whole "trickle-up" thing with other newer (non air-cooled) models has gotten a bit ridiculous, IMO.
