Fry a couple pieces of bacon. Mix up some cornmeal pancake batter and fry a cornmeal pancake in the bacon grease. Butter and maple syrup on top. I can eat ONE.
Place near here called the Clifton Mill serves an order of pancakes consisting of one plain, one buckwheat, and one cornmeal, each 10" in diameter and half an inch thick. I can't even look at them.
Cracker Barrel has an excellent pecan pancake, great with maple syrup. Again, I can eat ONE.
Fruit on pancakes is just wrong.
