Hi Vintage,
I think it might be fun to see if the 18-row cooler, run in series with the Terbatrol, might drop temps sufficiently to run track events without exceeding 230 degrees.
At least I have the Terbarol already in the car; I have the 18-row on the shelf in the garage, and all I would need is some time and oil lines betrween the two for this experiment. Not much initial cost.
I already remove the right turn signal, have already cut the headlight bucket, and install a trim ring with screen over the headlight opening, and still not as much temp. drop as I'd like.
Wow, I do like to do these changes incrementally, for then I'll know what individual change is working; my philosophy all along has been to make changes with the ability to put back things they way they were, for when I get old and grey and the old reflexes slow or disappear altogether. Long way off, I hope!!!!!!!
