Andras, your thinking makes perfect sense, and I was not suggesting you had to got to a front mount, just that air flow is more important than just merely adding cooling surface. The other point is that two coolers in parallel is maybe more work than just running them in series.
If you want to keep you concours condition, maybe just make some duct-work for track days....
