Ah... your post wasn't clear. Yes, the crappy old Japanese reps one can buy used in the classifieds run that kind of money. You said from Pelican, not from a Pelican.

That said, if I found a 930 with that kind of junk on it, I would wonder what other things the owner cheaped out on. I would stick with what's on it now versus wasting money on some old vintage knock offs.

I think you missed the other point. If you price a car 5 years ahead of the market, you won't sell it for another 5 years.

I think this particular car is in the $45-50k. Nowhere near $70k.
