Lots of value comments here (I tend to agree with the ones that fall in the $60-$65K range) but not much mention of where to sell.

If you advertise here on Pelican, expect plenty of virtual tire-kickers and/or dealer low-ballers who'll try to convince you that you owe it to them to sell them the car.

I've found the most serious buyers on this forum tend to be the ones in Europe. I sold a 911 to a guy in The Netherlands and one each 911 and 930 to buyers in Poland.

If I were selling a car like yours though, I'd probably take a hard look at Bring a Trailer. Post lots of photos, disclose every single problem and non-original part you can think of, then sit back and watch as the guys there still pick the car apart. It can get a bit overdone at times but the site generates real-world buyers and I'm often surprised by how much things sell for.

Plus, who doesn't want to see another air-cooled Porsche on BaT?
