I test drove a 2013 991S w PDK yesterday. I was driving past the dealer downtown and just decided to swing in and see what they had in CPO used cars. It was pretty nice. You can't really measure it against older 911s, it's a different beast. But there is a LOT of performance lurking just below the surface. Didn't get to any good roads but the car definitely just does whatever you ask it to.
They had quite a selection of new cars. GT3s, turbo S coupe, a 2016 GT4 w 4K miles and 6-speed manual, etc., etc. They also had a manual trans 2014 991 but it was a bit of a stripper, options-wise.
