The point of the scene was to show how dangerous replicants are and it certainly did that but it was like something from a horror movie.
It's funny, i actually looked away from the screen for 1/2 a second for some reason, right as that happened. I look back, and there is angry killer chick and some dude who was on the ground and very mushy. I said to myself that I'll have to rewatch the movie just to see what exactly she did to him, I assumed he had a weapon to do that kind of damage...
