If you get a following and enough people watch your videos, you make money. People love carnage, so beating the heck out of a free car that you aren't/can't license for the street is the sort of thing that some people would enjoy. You can maybe think of him as being like one of those whacky bits of Top Gear without the funny guys and high dollar production.
